- When a Page does not show, there are usually five possible causes: no Page yet, wrong Facebook login, no full control, the Page was not ticked, or the Page is in a Meta Business portfolio.
- The portfolio is the most common cause we see. Facebook hides these Pages from apps until the app has extra approval from Meta. We have applied and are waiting for the answer.
- Best fix today: give a second trusted person Full control directly on the Page, then connect while logged in to Facebook as that person. Posts still go out in the Page's name.
- Last resort: remove the Page from the portfolio. Read the warning below first, because people who manage it only through the portfolio lose access, and portfolio ads or links may stop working.
- If Facebook says you connected before, press Edit access, otherwise you will not see the screen where you tick your Page.
You press Connect, log in to Facebook, and either your Page is not in the list or the tool says it found no Page. You can see the Page on Facebook, and you know you manage it. So you try again, and get the same result. Repeating the sign-in rarely helps, because the cause is usually in how the Page is set up. Work through the causes below in order. Each has a way to confirm it and a fix.
Find your cause in one minute
| What is true for you | Likely cause | Go to |
|---|---|---|
| You only have a personal profile | No Page yet | Cause 1 |
| You have more than one Facebook account, or a staff member logged in earlier | Wrong login | Cause 2 |
| Someone else created the Page | No full control | Cause 3 |
| You connected before, and Facebook did not ask about Pages | Page not ticked | Cause 4 |
| You use Meta Business Suite or have run ads for the firm | Business portfolio | Cause 5 |
Cause 1: you do not have a Page yet
A personal profile is not a Page, even if it has your firm's name. Apps cannot post to profiles. Create a free Page from Menu → Pages → Create. Here is why a firm needs one and how to create it.
Cause 2: you are logged in to the wrong Facebook account
Facebook shows the Pages of whichever account is logged in on that browser. If your office computer is logged in to a colleague's Facebook, you will see their Pages or none at all. Log out of Facebook, log in as the person who manages the Page, and try again. A private or incognito window is the cleanest way to do this.
Log in with your Facebook email or mobile number. Your Instagram username will not work on this screen.
Cause 3: you do not have full control of the Page
Pages are often created by a designer, a former employee or an agency. If your account does not have full control, ask the person who has it to do this:
- Switch into the Page on Facebook and open Settings → Page setup → Page access.
- Under People with Facebook access, press Add New and choose your name.
- Turn on Full control and confirm.
- Accept the invitation from your own Facebook notifications.
If nobody can reach the person who created the Page, Facebook's Help Centre is the only route, and it can take time. Check this before you spend time on anything else.
OneClick Scheduler: After that, connecting takes a minute.
Try itCause 4: the Page was not ticked
Facebook remembers your earlier choices. If you connected once before and did not tick the Page, or switched a permission off, it may skip the screen where you choose. Look for Edit access or Edit previous settings on Facebook's sign-in screen, press it, tick your Page and keep every permission switched on.
If you do not see that option, go to Facebook Settings → Business integrations, remove the app, and connect again. Facebook will then show the full set of screens.
Press Connect on Facebook in OneClick Scheduler. It asks where your Page sits before you start, so you know which fix applies.
Cause 5: the Page is in a Meta Business portfolio
This is the most common cause we see at OneClick Scheduler. A Meta Business portfolio (formerly Business Manager) is the organisation account behind Meta Business Suite. Pages often end up inside one when someone sets up ads or Business Suite for the firm, and many firm owners do not realise it happened.
Facebook hides portfolio-owned Pages from an app unless Meta has given that app extra business access. OneClick Scheduler has applied for this access and is waiting for Meta's answer. Until it comes, you will not see the Page, even though you are its admin.
How to confirm it
Open business.facebook.com/settings. If your firm's business appears with your Page under Accounts → Pages, the Page is in a portfolio. You can also check on the Page itself under Settings → Page access.
Fix A: add a second person (try this first)
This keeps your portfolio exactly as it is, and takes about two minutes.
- On Facebook, switch into your Page and open Settings → Page setup → Page access.
- Under People with Facebook access, press Add New, choose a partner or another person you trust, and turn on Full control.
- That person accepts the invitation in their Facebook notifications.
- Open a private or incognito window, press Connect on Facebook, log in as that person, tick the Page and keep every permission on.
Posts still go out in your Page's name, never under that person's name. If their access is removed later, the connection stops, and someone with direct access will need to connect again.
Fix B: remove the Page from the portfolio (last resort)
Use this only if Fix A is not possible. It changes who owns the Page in Meta's systems. Your posts, followers and Page name stay the same, but:
- people who manage the Page only through the portfolio lose that access;
- ads, and Instagram or WhatsApp links set up in the portfolio, may stop working for this Page.
Before you do it, check that your own name is listed under Page → Settings → Page access → People with Facebook access, with Full control. If you remove the Page without this, you could lock yourself out.
- Open business.facebook.com/settings and choose your business.
- Go to Accounts → Pages, choose your Page and press Remove.
- Press Connect in the tool and tick your Page.
If you run ads for the firm, or an agency handles your Page, speak to them before removing anything.
Still not showing?
Do not keep pressing Connect, as the result will stay the same until something changes. Check these in order:
- Log in to Facebook in a private window, and confirm you can switch into the Page with that login.
- Check that your Page is published and not restricted.
- If Facebook asks for a passkey or another security check, finish it on your own device, and then connect again.
If it still does not work, the steps in the Help Center cover each case, and our team can guide you on your own screen. You do not have to wait for Facebook to start. Connect Instagram, LinkedIn or Google first, and come back to this later.
Frequently asked questions
Why does Facebook say no Pages found when I am the admin?
Usually because the Page is owned by a Meta Business portfolio, which Facebook hides from apps that do not have extra business access. Other causes are the wrong Facebook login, not having full control, or not ticking the Page during sign-in.
How do I know if my Page is in a Business portfolio?
Open business.facebook.com/settings. If your firm's business appears with your Page under Accounts → Pages, it is in a portfolio.
If I connect through a second person, will posts show that person's name?
No. Posts go out in the Page's name. If that person's access is removed later, someone with direct access needs to connect again.
Will removing my Page from the portfolio delete my posts or followers?
No, they stay. But people who manage the Page only through the portfolio lose access, and portfolio ads and links may stop working. Check that your own name has Full control on the Page first. Treat this as a last resort.
Should I keep trying to connect?
No. Repeating the sign-in gives the same result until the cause is fixed. Find your cause in the table at the top of this guide, fix it, and connect once more.
